What kind of items can I donate, and in what condition?

What types of waste should I segregate, and how should I do it at home? Residents must separate waste into three categories:

Recyclables: paper, plastic, glass, metals
Organic Waste: food scraps, vegetable peels, garden waste
Non-Recyclables: sanitary waste, used tissues, contaminated plastics
Set up clearly labeled bins for each category and ensure every family member follows the system.

What happens if I do not segregate my household waste?

Housekeeping staff will not collect unsegregated garbage. This measure is being enforced to promote responsible waste disposal and ensure a cleaner, healthier environment for all residents.

Why is waste segregation important for our community and the environment?

Segregation reduces landfill waste, conserves natural resources, and lowers pollution. Composting organic waste also cuts harmful methane emissions. By segregating waste, we contribute to a cleaner PRC and a more sustainable planet.

What fire safety systems must remain unobstructed in my flat?

Every flat must ensure that kitchen sprinklers and ceiling-mounted smoke detectors are fully visible, accessible, and functional. These systems must not be covered by false ceilings, wardrobes, furniture, or decorative elements.

Why is it dangerous to tamper with or block fire sprinklers and smoke detectors?

Obstructing or disabling these devices delays fire detection and suppression, increasing the risk of injury, property damage, or death. A single non-compliant flat can compromise the safety of the entire building.

What should I do if my flat is currently non-compliant?

You must immediately remove any obstructions covering or interfering with fire safety equipment. Regular access and functionality must be restored to comply with legal safety standards and avoid penalties.

Can I park in another resident’s parking slot if it’s temporarily vacant?

No. Even if a slot appears vacant, parking in a space not allotted to you, without the owner’s explicit permission, is strictly prohibited and causes inconvenience to rightful users.

What should I do if someone parks in my allotted parking slot?

Please report the incident to the Security Team immediately, mentioning your flat number and the vehicle details. Necessary action will be taken to resolve the issue promptly.

Can children of the opposite gender accompany a parent into gender-specific washrooms in club house?

No. Children above the age of 5 years are not permitted to enter gender-specific washrooms or changing rooms of the opposite sex, regardless of parental supervision. This is to ensure the privacy and comfort of all residents.

What should I do if I feel unsafe or uncomfortable at a facility due to such incidents?

Please report the matter immediately to the on-duty security staff or contact the Estate Office. Your concerns will be addressed confidentially and promptly.

How often should I service my air conditioner and why is it important?

You should service your AC at least once every 6 months. Regular maintenance ensures safe operation, prevents overheating and fire risk, improves cooling efficiency, and helps reduce electricity consumption.

Is it necessary to turn off air conditioners after prolonged use?

Yes. To prevent overheating and potential compressor sparks, its advisable to switch off your AC for a short period every 3–4 hours, especially during peak summer usage.

Why should kitchen chimneys be cleaned regularly?

Chimneys collect oil, grease, and residue, which can become a fire hazard if not cleaned. Regular servicing ensures safe and efficient functioning, reducing the risk of ignition and improving air quality in your kitchen.

Will the Estate Office be open during Gadget Holidays?

No. The Estate Office will remain closed during Gadget Holidays in observance of the scheduled break.

Whom should I contact in case of an emergency during the closure?

For any urgent matters or facility-related emergencies, please contact the security team or your estate manager at the provided emergency contact numbers.

The Estate Office will reopen on the next working day after the Gadget Holidays, during regular business hours.

What items are not allowed in lift lobbies and common floor areas?

Items such as bicycles, flower pots, furniture, shoe racks, decorative pieces, or any personal belongings are strictly prohibited in lift lobbies, corridors, staircases, and other common spaces.

Why is it important to keep these areas clear?

Blocked common areas delay emergency response and evacuation, especially during a fire or medical emergency. Clear pathways are a mandatory fire safety requirement to protect lives and enable quick rescue operations.

What happens if someone does not comply with these guidelines?

Non-compliance can result in forced removal of items without notice and may lead to penalties on the society or residents. Regular fire safety inspections are conducted, and violations are taken seriously.
